Biographical Information[edit]

Robert Kral has played in the San Diego Padres minor league system since 2011 (through 2014).

He was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 16th round of the 2010 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He signed after being taken by the Padres in the 10th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

In 2013 - his first year playing 100 or more games - Kral hit .260/.405/.485 with 16 home runs, 53 RBI and 78 walks (to only 65 strikeouts) in 101 games split between the Lake Elsinore Storm and San Antonio Missions. He was named a California League Mid-Season All-Star that year.

He began 2014 with the Missions.
