Ricky Daal is the son of Ritchie Daal, the brother of Randy Daal and Rodney Daal and the cousin of Emeron Lourens and Témesh Lourens.

Ricky played for Almere in 2005, going 4 for 16 at age 17. In 2006, he hit .137/.173/.137 and fielded .959 at first base. He was a regular at 1B and in the OF in 2007 when his father managed the team; Ricky batted .224/.288/.296 and fielded .965, the lowest of any starting first baseman in the Hoofdklasse. His brother Randy was at second base next to him. Moving to HCAW in 2008, Ricky was just 2 for 18 with two walks and ten strikeouts.

In 2009, Daal hit .243/.286/.324 as an outfielder for RCH with 40 K in 111 AB.
