Biographical Information[edit]

Rich Gregory played on Chico State's 1997 NCAA Division II national championship team. He was named a NCAA Division II All-American utility infielder in 1997.

After college, the Atlanta Braves signed him to a contract where he played for the Eugene Emeralds in 1998, hitting .221/.346/.368 with 11 runs and 7 RBI in 25 games. He fielded .983 at 1B (11 G) and .818 in 9 games in the OF.

Gregory was assistant coach at San Jose City College (2000-2001), Chico State (2002-2003) and Vista Del Lago High School (2009-?). He has been the head coach at Folsom Lake College since 2015.
