Biographical Information

Ricardo Badenas caught for the Spanish national team and for Club Hèrcules L'Hospitalet. In the 1991 European Championship, he helped them win a Bronze Medal. In the 1991 Intercontinental Cup, he hit .412/.565/.471 with 5 walks, 3 runs and 6 RBI in 7 games, splitting catching with Jesús Lisarri. On defense, he had 26 putouts, 3 assists, no errors, two passed balls and allowed four steals in five tries. He led the team in walks and was 3rd in RBI (behind Félix Cano and Enrique Cortés).
