Jesús María Lisarri Tomás

Jesús Lisarri was a member of the Spanish national team several times. He helped Spain take a Bronze Medal at both the 1989 European Championship and 1991 European Championship. In the 1991 Intercontinental Cup, he was 2 for 12 with a walk while splitting catching duties for Spain with Ricardo Badenas; his defense was poor as he allowed 20 steals in 22 tries, though he had no errors or passed balls. In the 1992 Olympics, he was 0 for 4 with three strikeouts but threw out half of the four runners who tried to steal against him.
Lisarri later coached in the Spanish Division Honor. In 2020, he was voted the president of the Real Federación Española de Béisbol y Softbol.
