Red Rush
Wresley Rush (Red)
- Born July 2, 1927 in Long Beach, CA USA
- Died January 11, 2009 in Moraga, CA USA
After serving in the Navy during World War II and attending USC, Red Rush was a longtime broadcaster. He did radio broadcasts for the Chicago White Sox from 1967 to 1970 and also broadcast games for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, and St. Louis Cardinals.
Aside from baseball, Rush was the voice of the Minneapolis Lakers and Golden State Warriors of the NBA, Loyola and DePaul University basketball, and University of California football.
