Biographical information[edit]
Red Herriott was a minor league baseball player and manager.
Playing career[edit]
Herriott played nine seasons from 1909 to 1919, missing 1911 and 1917. He played entirely in the Class-C and Class-D levels. Perhaps his best season was 1913, when he was with the Kearney Kapitalists. That season, he hit .363 in 108 games.
Managing career[edit]
He was the third of four managers for the Okmulgee Drillers in 1921. Harry Womack was the original manager, being replaced May 9th by Ed Klepfer, who was replaced July 9th by Herriott who was replaced by John Wuffli (date unknown).
