Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Ray Hanson began his professional career in 2013. He was taken by the San Francisco Giants in the 47th round of the 2010 amateur draft, but did not sign at the time -- instead, he began in the independent leagues, going 9-4 with a 9.2 K/9 IP ratio before being signed by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim partway through the 2014 campaign. He went 4-5 with a 4.00 ERA for the Inland Empire 66ers before returning to independent ball in 2015 and 2016.
