Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Randy Ross was a member of the Frederiksted Athletics along with Joe Christopher, Alfred Christopher, Elmo Plaskett, and Julio Navarro. He appeared briefly for the Ponce Leones in the Puerto Rican Winter League 1958-59 season. He also got into 10 games in the U.S. minors in 1960 for the Wellsville Braves, a Class D team that included Elrod Hendricks..
In 1966, Ross was part of the V.I. squad that faced a Puerto Rican club in the annual exhibitions that followed the PRWL winter season in those years.
