Biographical Information[edit]

Randy Kutcher was signed as a 4th round pick in the 1979 amateur draft by the San Francisco Giants and scout George Genovese.

Kutcher was a utility outfielder for the Giants and Boston Red Sox from 1986 through 1990, hitting .228 with 10 HR and 40 RBI in five seasons in the majors.

He was one of only three players from Alaska to debut in the 1980s, the others being Scott Loucks and Curt Schilling.
