Biographical Information[edit]
In 2010, Ramon Castro was playing for the Guerreros de Oaxaca in the Mexican League. He helped Venezuela win Bronze at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Castro was planning to play in Italy in 2015, but decided instead to accept an offer from the Kansas City Royals to coach in their minor league system.

Castro moved to the Leones del Caracas as an assistant hitting coach in 2018/2019 and has served as the Leones hitting coach since the 2020/2021 season.
