Biographical Information[edit]
Ramil Placides pitched for the Philippines national team in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, their first Baseball World Cup. He gave up 12 hits, 4 walks and 11 runs (9 earned) in 6 innings, going 0-1. He did not have the highest ERA on the staff as Christian Canlas and Fernando Badrina were higher. He also was with the Philippines for the 2003 Asian Championship.
