Biographical Information[edit]
Ralph (Holy) Good was a good major league pitcher in the 9 innings he pitched, with an ERA of 2.00.
Good was a star at Colby College, one of only six major leaguers who came from Colby. He attended Colby from 1907-10, and so was in the majors the same year as he graduated. Another Colby star, Jack Coombs, had graduated just before Ralph got to Colby, and was in the midst of his 15-year major league career.
Good had played in the Maine League in 1908, helping to lead Bangor to a pennant. He played with Ray Collins. He was with the Millinocket Tigers in 1909.
