Rainer Radu
Rainer Radu was on the German national team in the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series. He hit .233/.281/.333 with five runs and four steals in seven games in the 1975 European Championship, when Germany won Bronze. He allowed one hit, three walks and no runs in five innings, fanning four. He fielded .882. He led Germany in steals and was third in runs (behind Tom König and Jim Menzel); he had their best pitching line. [1] He was named the best batter on the Mannheim Tornados when they won their first title, in 1982. [2]
