Quentin Pourcel has pitched for the French national team.

Pourcel pitched for the Toulouse Tigers in 2007, going 3-2 with a 6.36 ERA, walking 38 and hitting 14 batters in 46 2/3 IP. He was second in France's Division Elite in walks. In the 2007 European Junior Championship, he went 1-0 with a 4.35 ERA, striking out 16 and walking 10 in 10 1/3 IP. He got a win over Poland. He led the tournament in walks, tied for the most wild pitches (4), tied for third in hit batsmen (3) and was third in strikeouts (behind Russians Andrei Lobanov and Nick Lobanov). In 2008, he had a 2-5, 5.02 record for Toulouse. He was in the MLB European Academy in 2008 as well. He was out of France's top level from 2009-2011 then returned in 2012 with Toulouse. He pitched for France in the 2012 European Championship, pitching 2/3 of an inning, allowing two hits, three walks, a hit batsmen and six runs (four earned) in the loss in a start against the Dutch national team.
