The next year, he was 2-1 with a save and a 1.23 ERA for the DSL Pirates, with a 0.66 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 44 IP. Had he qualified, he would have been 5th in the Dominican Summer League in ERA. During 2010, he was 3-1 with a 1.53 ERA. His .178 opponent average was 5th in the DSL. He did not make the top 10 in ERA in the pitcher-friendly loop. In 2012, the lefty was with West Virginia (2-3, 5.30 in 14 G, 27 BB in 35 2/3 IP) and Bradenton (2-1, Sv, 2.22 in 12 G) again. He did not pitch in 2013, having gone 13-12 with 4 saves and a 3.04 ERA in 91 minor league games to that point (30 starts). In 263 2/3 IP, he allowed 201 hits and 112 walks while striking out 239.

For 2014, he signed with the Seibu Lions but did not get into a game for them. He was 5-9 with a 4.51 ERA for the 2016 Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières. He was 3rd in the Canadian-American Association in losses, behind Ryan Bollinger and Joey Donino.

He then pitched for the Dominican national team in the 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier, turning in a solid start against Brazil (5 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 6 K in 5 IP) but trailing 1-0 when Ranfi Casimiro relieved due to Felipe Natel throwing a gem. Against Colombia in the finals, he took over for Gabriel Arias with a 13-4 lead in the 7th and threw a shutout frame (1 H, 1 K) then Atahualpa Severino relieved. He finished 4th in the event in ERA, behind Natel and teammates Pedro Viola and Claudio Custodio as the Dominicans won a spot in the 2019 Pan American Games.
