Biographical Information[edit]

Pooja played right and center for India in the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup, going 1-for-10 with a walk, two steals, three runs and three RBI; her lone hit came off Sadia Bibi of rival Pakistan. In the field, she had six putouts, an assist and an error. She tied Vandana Dhaka for third on India in runs and trailed only Geeta Bhuyan and Mona Kusumakar in RBI on the club. [1] Primarily a DH in the 2017 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she was 3 for 8 with a walk, run, RBI and two steals. Only Raj Rani had more hits for India. [2]
