Biographical Information[edit]
Mona Kusumakar was on the Indian team in the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup. Her first at-bat was against Maud Werkman of the Netherlands; she hit into an error by Sofie van de Wiel and came around to score. Her first hit was a double off Maaike Haak later that day. She hit .211/.250/.421 with 5 runs in 7 games for the Cup, fielding .808 at SS. She was 7th in assists (15) and tied Claudia Jorge and Yoon-young Jeong for 4th in errors (5). [1] In the 2017 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she hit .143/.200/.143, the lowest average of any qualifier, but went 3-for-3 in steal attempts. She fielded .905. [2]
