Biographical Information[edit]

Po-Hung Wu played in the CPBL for 2 years.

Wu was drafted by the La New Bears in the 4th round of the 2005 CPBL Draft, and he hit .277/.407/.366 with a league-leading 25 walks in the minor league in 2006. However, the Bears still let him become a free agent after the 2006 season, and the Sinon Bulls signed him. Wu hit .243/.329/.314 in 2007, but he slumped to .206/.260/.221 in 2008. The Bulls released him after the 2008 season, and his professional career ended. Wu then became a coach for the Ping-Jen High School in 2013, and he coached Taiwan in the 2012 World Junior Championship and 2013 U-18 Baseball World Cup. He also managed Taiwan in the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup.

Overall, Wu had hit .225/.296/.268 with 31 hits in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
