Pierre Doat has played in the French Division I and for the French national team.

Doat made his Division I debut in 2021, hitting .136/.304/.341 in 17 games for the Barracudas de Montpellier. ref> Stats.free.fr </ref> He was a C/3B for France in the 2021 European U-18 Championship, hitting .267/.450/.600 with five times hit by-pitch and six runs in five games, fielding .923. He led the event in times hit by pitch. That impressed team officials enough that he was with France for the 2021 European Championship, though he did not play in that event as Andy Paz and Nolan Soliveres did the catching, while Louis Brainville manned 3B.
