Biographical Information[edit]
Although mostly a reliever in his major league career, Pete Filson had one complete game on June 7, 1985 as a member of the Minnesota Twins against the Chicago White Sox. He gave up 11 hits, 3 earned runs, 0 walks and struck out 3. The Twins won the game, 6-3.
Filson served as the pitching coach for the Baseball City Royals in 1991-1992, Greensboro Bats in 1995, Portland Rockies in 1996, Durham Bulls in 1998-1999, and Newark Bears of the independent Atlantic League in 2003-2006.
