Biographical Information[edit]
Pete Falsey came out of Yale University, where he studied from 1910-1914, to play in the major leagues. After graduating in 1914, he joined the Pittsburgh Pirates. He got one at-bat against Jeff Pfeffer of the Brooklyn Robins on July 16th and then was a pinch-runner in two more games. He is not listed in the database as playing in the minors, although a notice in the Washington Herald on July 12, 1916, states that he had been released by the Albany Senators - a player known only as "Falsey" is shown as playing for Albany that year. Also, Sporting Life, on July 18, 1914, stated that Falsey "is said to have played professional ball before he entered Yale . . ."
