Pete Allen played just one game in major league baseball, for the Cleveland Spiders in 1893. He went 0 for 4.
He was at Amherst College in 1892 and 1893, the first major leaguer to have attended there. Various sources say he also attended the University of Pennsylvania after his major league days, where he coached the baseball team and went to medical school. He became a proctologist.
