Biographical Information[edit]
Percy Bailey spent three years pitching for top black teams, toiling briefly for the 1927 Baltimore Black Sox, then reappearing six years later. He went 6-3 for the Nashville Elite Giants in 1933 and went 4-1 with the Detroit Stars that year. He was picked for the West in the 1933 East-West Game but did not get into the contest. A year later, Bailey was with the Chicago American Giants and New York Black Yankees in limited action.
