Biographical Information[edit]
Pedro de los Santos was 0-1 with a 2.35 ERA in six games for the 2009 DSL Mets, with 3 hits and 8 whiffs in 7 2/3 IP but also 8 walks. He allowed one run in 2 1/3 IP for the 2014-2015 Estrellas Orientales. In the 2015 Pan American Games, he was a surprising pick for a Dominican national team staff which included three former major leaguers. The lefty tied for second on the club in appearances, one behind closer Luis Liria, allowing 7 hits, 2 walks and 4 runs in 3 2/3 IP. His 9.84 ERA was second-highest on the Dominicans; only Roberto Novoa was higher. De los Santos surrendered a 3-run homer to Team Canada's Jordan Lennerton (one of the runners was inherited).
