Paul Pangelinan has pitched for the Guam national team.
When Guam won Gold in the 2003 South Pacific Games, he threw six shutout innings (4 H, 9 K). He tied Steven Alcantara for the team lead in Ks (tied for 5th in the event with Alcantara, Pita Mauwaki and Stivan Eseli) and tied Ty Saiske for 2nd in the event in ERA (Stanley Filiaga was also at 0.00, in more innings). [1] He took Guam's first loss in the 2011 Pacific Games, dropping a 4-2 decision to L'Amour Arurang and Palau; Guam got the Silver. [2] In the Gold Medal Game, he allowed one run (unearned) in two innings after relieving Alexander Cruz, closing out his team's 8-4 loss to the Northern Mariana Islands. [3]
