Alexander Cruz pitched to one batter in the round-robin phase for the Guam national team that won Silver in the 2011 Pacific Games. Against Palau, he relieved Paul Pangelinan and got Reagan Sidoi to hit into a force in a 4-2 loss. In the finals, though, he relieved Freddy Cepeda Jr. in the 5th of a 8-4 loss to Northern Mariana Islands, allowing one run in 2 2/3 IP (2 H, 1 BB) before Paul Pangelinan took over.
