Paul Keyes is a college coach.
Keyes was an assistant coach at George Washington University in 1984-1985, then spent 1985-1991 as an assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. He then moved to Vanderbilt University where he was recruiting coordinator, pitching coordinator and infield and hitting instructor during the 1991-1994 period.
Keyes then became head coach at Virginia Commonwealth. In 1998, the team set a school record with 46 wins. He was named Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the year in 1997, 1998 and 2003. He has helped develop Brandon Inge, Cla Meredith and Justin Orenduff.
Keyes was 441-266 after 12 years at VCU, setting the school record for career wins by 2003.
