Paul Fernandes was a college coach.
Fernandes played baseball and basketball in college. He was head baseball coach of Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus from 1969-1977. He coached baseball at Columbia University from 1978-1998 and again in 2004-2005, winning 493 games; only Andy Coakley won more games for Columbia. His products included Gene Larkin, Fernando Perez and Frank Seminara.
