Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Fernando Perez was signed by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and scout Brad Matthews in the 7th round of the 2004 amateur draft.
Perez scored 4 runs and stole 2 bases in his first two major league games for the Rays in September, 2008.
In 2024, he became a coach with the San Francisco Giants with the title of Director of Video Coaching but stayed only for one season.
