Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman/outfielder Pat Reilly played in the Los Angeles Angels system from 2005 to 2007 and for the independent Sioux Falls Canaries in 2008 and and 2009.

With the Orem Owlz in 2005, he hit .308/.331/.458 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI in 41 games; the next year, he slugged 15 home runs with 81 RBI, 11 triples and 11 stolen bases in 123 games between two clubs and in 2007, he hit .225/.283/.385 with 12 home runs and 49 RBI for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Moving to Sioux Falls for 2008, he clobbered 13 home runs with 59 RBI and 12 stolen bases, then hit 8 home runs with 13 steals in 2009 -- though he batted just .248. He led the American Association in strikeouts with 99 in 2008 and was second with 89 in 2009, behind Kelly Hunt's 122.

Overall, Reilly batted .265/.326/.446 with 51 home runs and 245 RBI in 451 games over 5 seasons.
