Parkway Field

Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Parkway Field was built in 1923 and seated about 13,000. Also sometimes called Colonels Field, it was home of the Louisville Colonels of the American Association from 1923 to 1956. The park was also home of the Louisville White Sox of the Negro National League in 1931, the Louisville Black Caps of the Negro Southern League in 1932, and the Louisville Buckeyes of the Negro American League in 1949. The stadium's grandstand was demolished in 1961.
