Biographical Information[edit]
Pakorn Chaikaew was 1 for 4 for the Thai national team in the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup. [1] In the 2022 Asian Games (held in 2023 after delays related to COVID-19), the 18-year-old split first base with Sek Sitthikaew, a 15-year veteran of the team. He debuted against Singapore, starting at DH. After striking out against Eleazar Jie Xian Ng, he was replaced by Joe Daru. His first hit was off South Korea's Gyun-an Na. He finished 2-for-12 with a walk and two runs, fielding .955. [2]
