Pablo Lantigua scouted for the Boston Red Sox. He signed, among others, Michael Almanzar, Denny Bautista, Engel Beltre, Jose Garcia, Willy Mota, Yamaico Navarro and Juan Rodriguez. He was fired in 2008 after an investigation revealed he was receiving kickbacks from players' signing bonuses.
He might be the same Pablo Lantigua who played for the AZL Athletics in the Oakland Athletics system in 1992, hitting .307/.351/.373 with 47 hits in 43 games.
