Pablo Bejerano Morales (Don Pablo)

Biographical Information[edit]
Pablo Bejerano was the first baseman and cleanup hitter for Granma during much of the 1980s. He led the Cuban Serie Nacional in triples (8) in 1981-1982, tied Luis A. Álvarez for the most doubles (16) in 1986-1987 and led in RBI (58) in 1989-1990. He was the brother of Cuban national team member Víctor Bejerano and cup-of-coffee player Félix Bejerano and the cousin of Santiago V. Bejerano. Overall, Pablo hit .286.336/.439 in 16 seasons in Cuba, with 251 doubles, 178 home runs, 731 runs and 857 RBI. He fielded .983.
