Oxford, MS

Oxford is in northern Mississippi about 45 miles west of Tupelo, MS and 60 miles southeast of Memphis, TN. Grae Kessinger and Culley Rikard were born here. Tom Swayze died here. Oxford High School is located here and University of Mississippi is essentially here, although technically in University, MS.

University of Mississippi has hosted the 1977 and 1994 Southeastern Conference Tournament here.
