Biographical Information[edit]

Otho Nitcholas pitched in pro ball from 1930 to 1953. He compiled a 254-200 minor league record with a 3.56 ERA in 3,922 innings. Nitcholas led the 1948 Lone Star League with a 1.97 ERA. He never won more than 18 games in a season.

Nitcholas managed the 1950 Tyler Trojans, 1951 Alexandria Aces, and 1952 Abilene Blue Sox.

In 1957 he became the first police chief of Plano, TX, a town near his hometown of McKinney, TX.
