Oriental Park
Oriental Park was a racetrack on the outskirts of Havana that was host to baseball games in the 1917 Cuban Winter League when Almendares Park was unavailable that year. The situation was not good, as the stands were far away, the stadium was too far for many people to come by streetcar and horse races forced games to be played in the mornings. The Orientals got their name from the stadium and won the three-team race.
The park was also known as John McGraw's favorite spot to visit while in Cuba.
