Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Noah Miller is the brother of Owen Miller. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins out of high school in the Competitive Balance Round A of the 2021 amateur draft, with the 36th overall pick, the final pick of the first round that year.

He began his professional career in 2021 with the FCL Twins, hitting .238 in 22 games. In 2022, he played a full season with the Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League, putting up a slash line of .212/.348/..279 in 108 games. He did score 62 runs and steal 23 bases, so the speed was there even if the bat had not yet arrived. He improved somewhat in 2023, with the Cedar Rapids Kernels of the Midwest League, finishing at .223/.309/.340, with 8 homers and 60 RBIs in 120 games. Defensively, he had played almost exclusively at shortstop over his first three seasons and won a minor league Gold Glove for his fielding work in 2023.

On February 26, 2024, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in return for two players, major league outfielder Manuel Margot and fellow minor league infielder Rayne Doncon, a sign that he was still highly regarded as a prospect.
