Outfielder Nick Eppinga has spent a number of seasons in the Hoofdklasse. In 2005, the veteran hit .238/.273/.272 for Sparta/Feyenoord followed by .213/.287/.230 in '06. During the 2007 season, Eppinga's batting line was .222/.284/.237 and he was only 2-for-10 in steal attempts.
