Neil Burke was an infielder for the Australian national team in the 1981 World Games (Bronze Medal), 1981 Intercontinental Cup and 1982 Amateur World Series. He spent decades as a scout, with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves and Kansas City Royals. He coached for Australia in the 1998 Baseball World Cup and 2008 Final Olympic Qualifier. His son Chris Burke made his minor league debut in 2021.
