1981 World Games
The 1981 World Games were the lone World Games to feature baseball. The baseball portion was held at Municipal Stadium San Jose from July 27-30, 1981. Four countries sent baseball teams, with Team USA emerging victorious. They swept the field, beating South Korea in the finale, 4-2 as Ed Vosberg beat Dong-won Choi and Oddibe McDowell homered. Australia (1-2, 13 R, 26 RA) won Bronze while Panama went 0-3 and was outscored 22-12.
