National League of Baseball of Great Britain
The National League of Baseball of Great Britain was a short-lived professional baseball league based in London, England in 1890. The league contained 4 teams. The Aston Villa club was the champion. The league's owners were reportedly offering American major leaguers £15 a month to come play in the league, though it would appear that Leech Maskrey was the only one who accepted. Despite this, the league also featured another major leaguer; Sim Bullas, an English-born catcher who had a brief stint with the Toledo Blue Stockings in 1884.
