The Derby Baseball Club was a British baseball team based in Derby, England that competed in the National League of Baseball of Great Britain in 1890. The club was founded in October of 1889 by Sir Francis Ley, after he had discovered the game during a trip to the United States earlier that year. The team was reportedly leading the league in wins but was expelled from the league midway through the 1890 season. They continued to play after the collapse of the National League, until around 1900, and won the English Baseball Cup in 1895, 1897, and 1899. They wore black, white, and gray uniforms with blue letters across the front.
