Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Nathan Kirby was a supplemental 1st round pick in the 2015 amateur draft, being selected 40th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers out of the University of Virginia.

Kirby began his pro career in 2015 with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Midwest League, going 0-1, 5.68 in 5 games and 12 2/3 innings. He then missed the next two seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He returned in 2018 with the Carolina Mudcats of the Carolina League. In 27 games, including 11 starts, he went 3-5, 4.82, with 75 strikeouts and 46 walks in 71 innings.
