Nate Fish has played in Israel and Germany.
Fish was a high school teammate of Matt Guerrier and a college teammate of fellow Jewish player Kevin Youkilis. At Cincinnati, Fish hit .249 with 13 home runs in four years, including .287/.353/.421 as a senior in 2001-2002. In 2002, he tied a school record with six hits in a game. Fish helped the USA win the Gold Medal in baseball at the 2005 Maccabi Games. He hit .347/.439/.446 for the Tel Aviv Lightning in the 2007 Israel Baseball League. He tied for 8th in the league in average, tied for 6th in hits (42) and was 13th in OBP. He also won a Gold Glove for his work at third base.
Nate was one of three former IBL players to go to the Haar Disciples in 2008, alongside former minor leaguers Esequier Pie and Adalberto Paulino. Fish hit .320/.390/.402 while fielding .947 as a 3B-C. After Paulino, he was Haar's #2 offensive producer. He did not make the league's top 10 in any offensive category, but was second in fielding among starting 3B (after Max Boldt). He again won Gold in the 2009 Maccabi Games. He coached for the Israeli national team in the 2011 European Championship Qualifier and 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers.
