Team History[edit]
The Nashua Pirates played three seasons in the AA Eastern League as an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, from 1984 to 1986. After the 1982 season, the Holyoke Millers had moved to Nashua, NH, taking on the name Nashua Angels for the 1983 season. A change of affiliation after that season had motivated the change of names.
Following the 1986 season, the franchise was moved to Harrisburg, PA, where they found long-term success as the still extant Harrisburg Senators.
