Biographical Information[edit]

Narciso Picazo was an amateur star in Cuba in the 1920s and 1930s. He was 2-0 in the 1930 Central American Games as the event's top hurler; the Cuban national team won the Gold Medal. He tied Agustín Flórez for the most wins. He repeated at 2-0 when Cuba won the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games though Manuel Fortes was 3-0 to lead the staff. He retired as a player in 1937, having spent his whole career as an amateur.

Picazo then coached for Cuba when they won the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games and when they finished second at the 1941 Amateur World Series.
