Narciso González
(Redirected from Narciso Gonzalez)
Narciso González was an infielder for the Dominican national team when they won the Silver Medal in the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games and remained with them for the 1975 Pan American Games. In the 1974 Games, he did a very good job, splitting 3B with Maney Cabreja and backing up Fidel Mejia at SS. He hit .423/.500/.500, though he fielded only .889 at 3B and .875 at SS. Had he qualified (he was one plate appearance shy), he would have been third in the event in average (behind Rodolfo Puente and Alberto Lois) and would have tied for third in slugging (behind Lois and Armando Capiró).
