Naoki Yoshikawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Yoshikawa was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the first round of the 2016 NPB draft; the scout was Shigeki Fujimoto. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2017 as he only got 5 at-bats with the big club, and he hit .253/.304/.361 in 93 games in 2018. Yoshikawa missed most of the 2019 season due to a waist injury, and he secured the starting second baseman spot in 2020. He hit .274/.336/.398 with 8 homers in 112 games in '20, and he was 1-for-10 in the 2020 Nippon Series; the Giants were swept by the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.
The Gifu native was still a solid infielder in 2021, and he hit .272/.313/.370 with 5 homers. He recorded a .277/.329/.380 batting line in 2022, and he crushed 7 homers with a .256/.308/.367 batting line in 2023. Yoshikawa played all 143 games in 2024, and his batting line was .287/.341/.377 with 12 steals. He was 5th in steals (tied with Ryutaro Hatsuki), 5th in hits (between Seiya Hosokawa and Shugo Maki) and 7th in batting (between Hideki Nagaoka and Koji Chikamoto).
